Local Goodies

I have spent numerous hours searching the internet, asking around, and visiting different stores around Adelaide in a quest to find affordable, local and nutritious produce.

So, I want to share my findings with you, so that you do not have to do the exhaustive investigations!

Organic Produce

Monica's OrganicsFor fresh and affordable organic fruits and vegetables I suggest Monkia’s Organics. Their products are available in Coles and Woolworths supermarkets. However, if you live near the area of Golden Grove, or do not mind a drive, you can buy directly from the farm (either on-the-spot purchasing, or you can order via email prior to) and the prices are slightly lower than in store, which makes the produce more affordable.
Email orders can be made directly to Monika: monika@monikasorganics.com.au

Visit their facebook page for more information.

If pick-up is not possible, or you prefer online ordering and to-your-door delivery, I would suggest Family Organics.

They have a large range of fresh organic fruits and vegetables, meats, pantry items, self care etc. They do very good weekly specials, which are worth taking advantage of! Delivery costs apply.
